Dissolve content of this packet with water. Knead and marinate for 10 mins. Make it into round shape. Grill until done. Serve with rice noddle sheets or rice vermicelli and fresh vegetables.
Recipe : Pork Balls (Nam Nuong)
1. Dissolve contents of this package with 1/4 cup (60 ml) water.
2. Add the mixture into 500 g. ground pork, knead untl the mixture becomes sticky. Let stand for 10 minutes.
3. Shape into 1 inch in diameter balls. Thread the balls.
4. Grill until done or bake at 170 degrees Celstus for 10 minutes.
5. Serve with rice noodle sheets or rice vermicelli and fresh vegetables.
Recipe : Shrimp Mousse on Sugar Cane
1. Cut fresh sugar cane to make 10 skewers (5 inches long, 0.5 inch in diameter)
2. In a bowl, empty contents of this packet with 500 g. frozen shrimp. Mix together.
3 Whille the shrimp is still cold, mince in electric food processor until finely bleaded.
4. Crease your paim with vegetable oil and tightly form the shrimp paste around sugar cane.
5. Steam with medium heat for 10 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes.
6. Deep fry in vegetable oil until lightly golden brown.
Tips :
ㆍ If tresh gugar cane is not avajable, use chopeticks or bamboo sticks.
For the sauce: simply dissolve 1/3 cup of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in 3 tablespoons water and 3 tablespoons vinegar. Soak shredded carrot and shredded Chinese turnip in the sauce.
* Serve with steamed rice vermiceli and fresh green vegetables
